Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen presides over the inauguration ceremony for the official use of container handling equipment







In his speech, the Cambodian premier thanked Japanese government and people for their aid given to Cambodia from 1993 in the national rehabilitation and development as well as maintaining peace and the political stability in Cambodia. In 2002, he said, Japan provided roughly 77 million US dollars in aid for repairing and upgrading Sihanoukville sea port’s facilities.

To mark the International Labour Day, he gave his idea, saying that the workers and Bosses are not enemies with each other, adding that they are partners to promote the national growth. “We have investors, we have more than 300,000 workers at present” he said. “There are capitalists, there are workers; and if there are not capitalists, we will become farmers for ever, he said.

In the meantime, the Cambodian prime minister appealed to the authorities at all levels and armed forces to create the political atmosphere in a way of freedom, impartiality, fairness, justice and non-violence.
