The 33rd meeting of World Heritage Committee held in Seville of Spain





Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister H.E Sok An, cabinet minister and his wife arrive at Phnom Penh International Airport on July 5, upon returning from the participation the 33rd meeting of World Heritage Committee held in Seville of Spain.
Speaking to reporters upon his arrival, H.E Sok An said the 33rd meeting of the World Heritage Committee has ignored Thailand’s opposition over the Cambodia’s Preah Vihear issue.
The meeting focused on the conservation and development work for the culture issue only. So the listing of Cambodia’s Preah Vihear Temple as the world heritage site was not involved with the Thai invasion into Cambodian territorial integrity as it has a longtime planned.
He added that he also met with all representatives of World Heritage Members to explain them over the map which recognize by international and the unilateral map of Thailand, which made with an aims of invading Cambodian territorial integrity.
