Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen presides over here on July 7 the closing ceremony of the National Forum on the Food Security and Nutrition under the theme of Social Safety Nets in Cambodia.
Addressing the forum, Cambodian premier said the strengthening of the social safety nets for rescuing and supporting to the poor and vulnerable people in the society is the government’s priority strategy to relieve the negative impact or any disaster which may occur during the period of the global economical crisis.
He added that the royal government together with international organizations and relevant institutions has promoted the job opportunities, reducing the vulnerability for the poor and improve the social safety nets for former State civil-servants as well as veterans through the additional wage and other supports.
