Japanese Ambassador Pays Farewell Visit to Samdech Hun Sen



Outgoing Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Shinohara bids farewell to Cambodian Premier Techo Hun Sen in Phnom Penh Tuesday morning, upon completing his diplomatic mission to Cambodia.

On the occasion, the Japanese diplomat told Premier Techo Hun Sen that during his more than two-year diplomatic mission here he has promoted the cooperation between Cambodia and Japan as well as boosted Cambodia’s development by asking more aid and lured more Japanese investors to the country. Moreover, he added that he has made cooperation with JICA to provide training for Cambodian human resources as well.

In reply, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed profound thanks to H.E. Shinohara for his endeavor during the mission here. Besides, Prime Minister Hun Sen asked H.E. Shinohara to continue his support and assistance to Cambodia.

He also emphasized that during H.E. Shinohara’s diplomatic term here, the relationship between Cambodia and Japan have been strongly developed and Japan has increased its aid to Cambodia despite the country is being faced with
