Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, accompanied by his wife and senior government officials, cuts a red ribbon to inaugurate a military headquarters of Invention Division 3 in Choam Ksan district, Preah Vihea province on Feb. 6.
In his speech at the ceremony, the Cambodian prime minister made his commitment to King Father and Queen Mother from the battle field at the border, saying that as young generations, that is, sons, daughters, grand-sons, grand-daughters, great-grand sons and great-grand daughters, we would like to continue taking your turn by making a great efforts to defence the territory of the country and adding that it is your trust, without being wrong, being put in the government leaders, the Cambodian armed forces, national police forces and Cambodian people who join together to defence the country against all forms of invasion from the outsiders.
He said the border issue has to be solved through the peaceful talks and the use of the strengths is imposed forcefully on us when they invade us, meaning that we do not enter their soil, but we do not allow them to intrude into our land.
Cambodia has no overlapping area with Thailand covering 4.6 square kilometers near Preah Vihea temple, he said, adding that it only exists on a map drawn by Thai military for invasion and Cambodia never recognizes the map designed unilaterally by Thailand.
He said, I needn’t let Thai side to welcome me on Cambodian soil, you want greet me at Keo Sekha Kiri Svay Rak pagoda to recognize you as ownership or co-property, I know your trick. He said this is a bad trick to welcome Cambodian premier on Cambodian land and you don’t think Hun Sen is ignorant.
Meanwhile, the Cambodian premier and his wife a brief visit to Cambodian soldiers and inspected military armaments.
